Atheist Thoughts on ChristianiThe first time I really sat down and thought about Christian soteriology it boggled my mind how childish it seemed. All you have to do to be saved is believe in this one guy, that's pretty much it. When compared to say Buddhism or Hinduism, it just seems lazy. Buddhists and Hindus put so much energy in trying to realize themselves and gain salvation, which is not an easy task in either religion. So I thought to myself, that's why Christianity's so popular, because it's easy. It's the religion for lazy people, so even the common man can take part, they don't have to be educated or anything.
